I’m all for gay jokes. Obviously so is Takei since he regularly riffs himself and knows that comedy is comedy and is an art form that is sometimes shocking. First of all, this is a lame ass joke. How in the hell would Spock and Sulu fit into a gay pride parade and how can just two gay men make an entire float? There is no wit in this to excuse it even a little, so it’s a cheap joke and comes off as mean spirited. “Ah ha ha, I made a hilarious joke because George Takei and Zachary Quinto are gay! Everyone look at their photoshopped heads! Two gay men on Star Trek! I mean, one was funny, but two is hilarious, am I right?”

Just, fuck you for going to the lowest common denominator and shaming two wonderful men for having the bravery to come out and deal with shitbags like you in their face every day.

Did you see how comfortable Chris looked with Zach? Clearly he and everyone on Earth knew Zach was gay, but I’m just proud of Chris not altering his behavior and keeping a distance in public. Shouldn’t have doubted him for a moment.

Tell me what you think of this nutty show! I’m enjoying it despite it’s randomness, and dudes in pleather suits.

I’ve watched four episodes thus far, so now I have an opinion. You’re quite right, it’s weird and half the time I’m going ‘huh?’, but I like that because at least you get answers along the way and it’s damn compelling. I didn’t know it was on FX so it was nice to get some foul language and really disturbing imagery (omg, the baby stitching? I don’t get repulsed easily and I’ve never been disturbed by anything on Supernatural, but that was some seriously messed up shit. Me gusta!) I’m sort of annoyed with the two parents, though I sort of like that because it gives me a certain pleasure seeing bad things happen to them. I mean, wtf, they say they can’t move form this fucked up place because they need the money, but if that were me I’d cut my fucking losses and live below my means. I mean, they clearly can afford a housekeeper, a new security system, and someone to decorate their house, so I have no sympathy for when they eventually go mad and kill everyone. I just hope the daughter is far away because I like her. I’ve also watched the first episode with Zach’s character and dear lord, he’s magnificent. What gets me is that the character and his lines are dull on paper. If they would have cast anyone else, the character would fall flat but he is able to take this otherwise stereotypical, lifeless character and put that much life into him. He’s scarily good at acting and that’s why I fell in love with him when I first watched him on Heroes and he remains my favorite character from that show, even if he was, once again, a stereotypical psychopath made awesome by magic acting.
