You know, usually after being in a fandom for almost two years, I start losing a little bit of interest
I find other ships that distract me, I stop reading fic unless it’s really, really good and recced by lots of people, and I definitely stop writing or start having fewer ideas.
Yeah, apparently my brain still thinks it’s May 2009. In fact, it’s worse than it was then because I know so much more about Kirk/Spock now that I’m not only still enthused, but I’m batshit insane tinhatting my OTP until the end of time. I don’t even read other pairings any more because it just wastes time when I could be reading K/S instead.

This! I don’t even like short posts because dear lord, it’s a community, not a personal journal, and a Pinto community at that. Say what you will about ontd_startrek, but they were smart when they made the meet up planning post to curtail these posts. I’m hoping the results from that site-wide poll will have a similar solution, because even if AiA ends, we’ll still see these kinds of posts when anyone meets the boys.
